When you connect Slack, your AI worker can read public channel history and post updates to your team — only after you approve each message.

What happens when you click Connect
A sign-in popup from the provider opens. You sign in with the account you want the worker to use, review the permissions, and approve. The connection key is stored encrypted on our server and is never visible to the MyKaam builder or other users.
Approval gate
Reading is automatic; every send, post, edit or write waits for your approval. You can always disconnect the tool from your worker workspace.
How to set it up
- Create a new Slack app at api.slack.com/apps.
- Open OAuth & Permissions and add the redirect URI above.
- Add bot scopes: channels:read, channels:history, chat:write, users:read.
- Install the app to your workspace and copy the client ID and secret.
- Add the client ID and secret to Lovable's Slack App User Connector.
Troubleshooting
- If the popup does not open, check that your browser allows popups for mykaam.io.
- If the connector says 'Not enabled for this workspace yet,' your MyKaam admin still needs to finish the provider-side setup.
- To remove access, open your worker workspace and click Disconnect next to the tool.
