What exactly is an AI worker?

An AI worker is a configured AI agent that owns a job, not a chatbot that answers trivia. It has a defined role, operating procedure, tools it's allowed to use, escalation rules and guardrails — for example an intake coordinator that answers calls and books appointments, or an SDR that researches leads and drafts outreach.

How does the free demo work?

After you submit the intake form, MyKaam generates your worker's system prompt and specification, then publishes a hosted demo at a shareable link. You chat with the worker as if it were live. It runs entirely on realistic dummy data — no systems are connected and no real records are touched — so you can forward the link to your team safely.

Is the demo using my real data?

Accepted Answer

No. Demos are dummy-data only by design. Your real tools and data are connected during the build phase, after you confirm the demo and the build fee is paid.

What is the build fee, and is it extra?

Accepted Answer

The build fee is a one-time payment that starts the real build. It credits toward your final total — it is not an extra charge on top. It covers integration work, testing and delivery of the production worker.

How is the monthly subscription priced?

Accepted Answer

Workers fall into three tiers: Starter ($999 build, $499/month), Growth ($2,499 build, $999/month) and Scale ($4,999 build, $1,999/month). The tier depends on workflow complexity, number of integrations, volume and privacy requirements. The intake form estimates your tier live as you fill it in.

What happens if a payment is missed?

There is a one-week grace period. Your worker keeps running and your dashboard shows a clear warning with the grace end date. If the balance isn't settled by then, the worker is turned off — your configuration and history are preserved, so it can be switched back on once payment resumes.

Question 7

Which tools and systems can a worker connect to?

Accepted Answer

Anything with an API or a supported integration path — CRMs, help desks, calendars, phone systems, spreadsheets, databases, internal apps and more. List what you use in the intake form and we confirm feasibility before you pay anything.

Question 8

How do you handle privacy and sensitive data?

Accepted Answer

You describe your privacy requirements in the intake form and they become part of the worker's spec and guardrails. Demos never touch real data. For production builds we scope data access to the minimum the job needs and follow the handling rules agreed with you.

How long does a real build take?

Accepted Answer

Most workers are delivered in one to three weeks after confirmation, depending on how many systems need to be integrated and how quickly access is granted.

Can I request changes after delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tuning, prompt changes and workflow adjustments are part of the monthly subscription. Larger scope additions — a new integration or a whole new workflow — are quoted separately.

Can I pause or cancel?

Yes. You can pause or cancel a worker from your dashboard at any time. Pausing keeps the configuration intact so you can restart later.
